How many times on a shoot have you visualized a killer image - the light is lovely, that gorgeous angle of the building is winking at you with a twinkle in her eye, the planets align for a blissful instant and it is all about to happen and then . . . and then you convince yourself that the client won’t go for it, or that the coordinator will be up your ass for the delay, or that it might not work anyway . . . .

So you don’t say anything.

And the light changes and the subjects move and the moment is gone.
